Brad brought a little barbecue grill so we could grill kebabs and corn-on-the-cob for our anniversary dinner. The setting for dinner was exquisite! We were even entertained by a Vermilion Flyecatcher and a wild turkey.
While watching the turkey, I wondered out loud to Brad if turkeys flew since they appeared so awkward and large. Well, it turns out they do. Near dusk, the turkey flew into the crown of one of the large oak trees near us! That was quite the sight.
We never saw a single soul the entire time we were out - just the way we like it!
